Adolf Meinel 1973 - high end classical guitar handmade in Germany!

The Meinel familly has a long tradition in guitar making. As early as 1862, Christian Hermann Meinel founded the Meinel Atelier to produce instruments of the highest craftsmanship.
Adolf Friedrich Meinel continued the tradition and trained Adolf Richard Meinel (the builder of this guitar).
Adolf Richard Meinel completed his master's degree at the age of 26 and has been producing zither and guitars ever since, which were very popular with the musicians of the time and are still very popular today.
He trained his daughter Ulrike Meinel. She continues the family tradition to this day and is a recognized guitar maker in Germany.

This handmade classical guitar by Adolf Richard Meinel is a custom-made instrument which was made for a professional musician to be played in concert halls. It was made with skill and attention to detail and is a very beautiful instrument.

Rosewood was used for the back and sides and the top is made of very fine spruce. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.
The guitar was built in 1973 and is in good condition, with few signs of use and wear.

This particular guitar was built with a set of gorgeous Rosewood which is very dense and therefore ‘reflective’ in tonal quality - giving the tone added brilliance and clarity. The guitar also has a very wide range of timbres in both the treble and bass, making this a very agile guitar for the player looking to attack the Breame-esque layers of timbre with only the slightest change in hand position or angle of the right hand.
Although volume and projection on this guitar are very good, this guitar has a great balance and sustain. The sound is very solid and clear, with every note able to sing beautifully. The aesthetic design is handsomely elegant and clean ... this is an excellent concert guitar in all aspects.

It comes with a good hard case.
