Ricardo Sanchis Carpio 1980 - High end guitar with dealer label „Antonio Dotras Cordoba“.

This beautiful guitar was built for Antonio Dotras Cordoba in Barcelona. Behind this name is a dealer who made student guitars in his own factory in Barcelona. The master instruments of Antonio Dotras Cordoba were built by Vicente Carillo and Ricardo Sanchis Carpio and sold under the label „Antonio Dotras Cordoba“ in the Barcelona area. The guitar bears a brand stamp from Ricardo Sanchis Carpio on the underside of the top.

The Spanish guitar maker Ricardo Sanchis Carpio is the head guitar maker of the Hermanos Sanchis Lopez company in Valencia, which was founded by his grandfather Ricardo Sanchis Nacher in 1915.
After working for some time for guitar makers in Valencia, the founder moved to Madrid, where he became friends with Manuel Ramirez and Domingo Esteso. In order to perfect his craft, he stayed in Madrid and worked for Domingo Esteso on Sundays for three years. Since then, the Sanchis family has maintained close ties with Esteso and his heirs, the Hermanos Conde.
Ricardo Sanchis Carpio learned from his grandfather and continued to develop, so that his guitars eventually became world-famous.

Details about this guitar:

The guitar plays like a dream. The string action is flat and the neck is straight.

It has a wonderful sound. We are delighted with the Spanish lightness that this guitar radiates.
It has powerful and deep basses and the overtones it produces are truly magical. The trebles have a lyrical, singing quality.
The guitar can get very loud, with a penetrating fullness of sound and yet it always retains a charming tone.
It is a truly graceful instrument that delights and inspires.

It is in good condition, with some signs of wear and tear and 2 small repairs.
