Very nice guitar from Casa Ferrer in Granada - traditional Granada sound at a reasonable price!

Casa Ferrer is the most traditional family of guitar makers in Granada.
Benito Ferrer, who is considered the founder of the guitar making school in Granada, was the founding father. Eduardo Ferrer, who taught many famous guitar makers in Granada and beyond, is another dazzling figure in this family.

Casa Ferrer is still located in the heart of Granada, at the foot of the famous Alhambra de Granada.

In terms of sound, this guitar reminds me of the guitars we had from Antonio Marin Montero and José Lopez Bellido. A fine Granada tone, very beautiful and sweet, but also powerful.
Together with the good construction and the fine materials, it produces a magical, almost mystical sound. The guitar is loud and clear and has all the vintage magic you would expect. The tone is beautiful - rich and silky, mellow and full. It combines the best qualities of a spruce top with the unique sound of typical Granada guitars. The separation between notes is clear and incredibly balanced across the entire range.

The condition of this guitar is very good for its age. It has a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.
