Arturo Sanzano 1996 - a very special and finely crafted classical guitar in the Ramirez 1a style.
Arturo Sanzano began his career as a guitar maker in 1963 as an apprentice in the workshop of José Ramirez III, where he worked as a master guitar maker until 1984.
At this time, he set up his own business and opened a new workshop with Mariano Tezanos (another guitar maker from the Ramirez workshop). They built guitars together for several years.
Arturo Sanzano later opened his own workshop in Madrid, where he began to teach Miguel Molero and Alfredo Gregori. Arcadio Marin was also his pupil ...
This beautiful guitar is built in the style of a Ramirez 1a concert guitar. It has a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52. It has the typical Sanzano headstock and bridge style. It also has beautiful handmade inlays and a beautiful rosette.
The sound is warm and powerful, very balanced with exceptional depth and clarity. The dynamics of the basses are impressive and combined with powerful and crystal clear trebles and impressive timbres, this instrument is simply stunning.
The guitar is in very good condition. It has traces of play and use and a longer scratch on the top is still slightly visible.
The guitar is perfectly set up with a low string action and a straight neck.
It is supplied with a matching case.
