This beautiful Martin guitar is a Custom Shop Adirondack with forward-shifted bracing (the top bracing). It provides perfect balance and nuance across the entire sound spectrum, which is a dream of a sound with rich lows, muted mids and crystal clear highs, as the top can resonate even more freely. The flat neck profile has become one of the most popular neck profiles, and with a nut width of 4.44 cm, the request of countless players to simply make the neck more comfortable has been met, which has been absolutely successful. Nevertheless, Martin has not changed the DNA. The special wood combination of Adirondack spruce and selected Indian rosewood (of course in solid construction) testifies to the special nature of this instrument. It is powerful and always assertive, but still offers plenty of space to reproduce fine articulations. Quite simply the way you would imagine a „special“ Martin to sound.
Adirondack spruce (red spruce) is considered the best tonewood.
