Beautiful flamenco guitar by Jeronimo Pena from 1959 - a great sounding guitar with the typical old flamenco sound!

This is one of the early Pena guitars and it is an absolutely stunning guitar. The woods on this guitar are exceptionally beautiful and the ornamentation is incredibly decorative.

Jeronimo Pena Fernandez's highly ornate guitars are perhaps most immediately recognizable by their bold construction details and overall original style.
His excellent training in carpentry and furniture making was not lost on Pena in guitar making, you only have to look at the artistic woodwork on the bridge and headstock.

The sound of this guitar is powerful and the guitar is very dynamic - elegant and majestic like its appearance. It impresses with a high volume and a very distinctive tone.

The condition is good and the guitar has been completely and beautifully restored. The shellac has been refreshed.
It plays easily with a low string action. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm. The top is made of very fine spruce, back and sides of beautiful cypress wood.

This makes this guitar a magnificent specimen from one of the most admirable luthiers of the twentieth century.
