A guitar like this doesn't come along every day! A hand-built guitar from the great master of the Conde brothers - Domingo Esteso - one of the best guitar makers the world has ever seen.

The Spanish guitar maker Domingo Esteso Lopez was one of the great guitar makers of the first half of the 20th century, who was apprenticed to Manuel Ramirez. After the death of Manuel Ramirez, he opened his own store in Calle Gravina, where he was joined by his 13-year-old nephew Faustino Conde in 1926 and Mariano Conde in 1929. After his death at the end of 1937, Faustino and his two brothers, Mariano and Julio Conde, continued to work under the label Vda y Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso. Domingo Esteso's guitars are considered monumental and historic, some of them are exhibited in the world's great museums and tell an important part of the history of the Spanish guitar.

This guitar from 1922 is a very beautiful masterpiece.
Even by today's modern standards, the volume of this instrument is enormous and the loose, woody and well-rehearsed sound is something that can only be found on a Vinateg instrument.
The sound is absolutely magical from the lower end to the highest registers. You can play gently to pull out a beautiful, singing lyric, but when you really get down to it, it growls like a flamenco guitar of the good old days.

In terms of condition, it has several well-repaired cracks in the body - fortunately, despite the work that has been done, it has retained its authentic sound and plays very well.

The scale length is 654 mm and the nut is 52 mm wide. The top is made of spruce, back and sides of cypress.
