This Mario Gropp 2020 classical guitar is an exceptional concert instrument for discerning guitarists who value depth of sound, projection and the finest nuances. Built in the spirit of the great German guitar-making tradition and clearly inspired by the style of Richard Jacob Weissgerber, this guitar is a real insider tip for concert guitarists.

Mario Gropp's workshop stands for a sensitive balance of tradition and innovation. Classical construction principles and aesthetics inspired by Weissgerber are combined here with modern construction ideas that are optimized in terms of sound and playing technique. The result is instruments with a fast response, long sustain and an impressive tonal balance across the entire fingerboard. It is precisely these characteristics that make this Mario Gropp 2020 classical guitar an excellent companion for the stage and the studio.

In terms of sound, the guitar impresses with great dynamics, clarity and powerful projection. It responds immediately to the finest nuances of touch and at the same time offers sufficient reserves for powerful playing. The guitar body is made of maple, combined with a high-quality spruce top, which ensures transparency and resilience. The mahogany neck offers a scale length of 630 mm and a nut width of 52 mm, which enables comfortable and controlled playing. An ebony fingerboard, a rosewood bridge with a split nut for improved intonation and high-quality Alessi tuners underline the professional standard of this instrument. The guitar has been finished by hand with a shellac polish, which gives the sound additional openness and liveliness.

A special detail is the specially developed bridge, which optimizes the intonation and contributes to a very precise response. The guitar plays pleasantly light and balanced, with a clearly defined tone in all registers.
