This Gibson LG-2 from 1950 is the real deal – rocked hard, with a sound to die for! It is a harmonically rich acoustic guitar, with a ton of vibe and a great “opened-up” tone as well as excellent playability – exactly how we want them.
This nice guitar solid spruce and mahogany construction, with a nicely aged warm sunburst finish, a mahogany neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard, a rosewood bridge.
The guitar is in rough condition. We have checked all cracks and all inner braces and carried out the necessary measures to present the guitar perfectly playable and completely stable for sale.
It plays very easily with a straight neck and good frets.
This guitar is one of the most articulate, mature mahogany guitars that We’ve owned – just amazing. Rich and deep … a very powerful guitar. The whole construction and the matured woods create this most haunting voice that can’t be described with any degree of accuracy.
The FON dates this guitar to 1950.
It comes with a newer case.
