Luis Sanchez 2020 “blanca” – great sounding, easy playing and very nice looking handmade flamenco guitar!
This year on a trip to Spain we happened to discover the guitars of Luis Sanchez Rodriguez in Marbella (Andalusia).
We were immediately thrilled, because such magnificent sounding guitars are usually much more expensive. Luis Sanchez Rodriguez’ guitars are entirely handmade, very well built and visually extremely appealing.
The guitar is very light and has a spruce top and beautiful cypress back and sides. It has beautiful decoration elements and looks stunning.
The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm. It plays extremly well all the way down the neck.
This guitar plays really well and produces an impressive flamenco sound – very Spanish with a mystical and warm nuance. It has an immediate attack with a honey-like, deep, woody texture. The guitar is very lightweight and spontabeous, typical of the best Andalucian flamenco guitars. We love this guitar as it has also this lyrical, singing quality to the sound. The bases are thick and well present. It can be very loud with a piercing volume and still it retains a charming tone.
It is a truly graceful instrument with a fascinating sound.
This Luis Sanchez Rodriguez from 2020 is in very good condition, with just some small amount of playing wear. It comes with the original case.
