Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been building guitars since the age of fourteen. He was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany, the son of a guitar maker, where he grew up with guitars at an early age. Over the years he developed a great passion and expertise for this instrument. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years, where he builds handmade guitars of astonishing quality in a small manufactory.
The Model 113 Torres, a reverent tribute to Antonio de Torres’ guitars from his prolific second construction period beginning in 1888, stands as a masterpiece of guitar craftsmanship. This instrument’s light construction results in a remarkably direct response, making every note resonate with clarity and immediacy. This guitar is from 2023 and has been played and used, but is in great condition. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width 52 mm. It has a nice spruce top and Pau Ferro back and sides. The guitar has been aged to look like the original guitar. It comes with the original case.
