The Martin D-35 is probably the most famous dreadnought guitar in the world, next to the Martin D-28. Hundreds of famous musicians and countless guitarists have played a D-35 and even today it is a standard guitar for many.
The D-35 is the prime example of a 14 fret dreadnought and the construction basis for most dreadnoughts on the market. The combination of spruce and rosewood paired with the large dreadnought body, is popular with many as the sound is both natural and balanced with tight bass and present treble and is suitable for many modern styles of music.
This Martin D-35 1966 is a great vintage Martin. The sound has that huge bass you are looking for. Paired with crystal clear highs, the guitar delivers a unique sound experience. What we especially like about this guitar is the vintage tone quality, which adds a lot of charm and character to this beautiful guitar.
The sound is tremendously voluminous and provides great depth. The guitar feels room-filling and is enormously powerful. It is a real pleasure to play such a noble guitar.
The guitar is in very good condition for its age. Only on the back it has 4 repaired cracks, which are all stable.
It plays very well, with a low action and a straight neck and comes with the original Martin case.
