This Jose Ramirez 1972 is a true beauty and is constructed in the same ways as Segovia’s famous Ramirez classical guitar. Among classical guitars the workshop of Ramirez is the most famous world wide.

Nearly 140 years Ramirez has produced instruments performed on by countless professionals. From Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.
Not only do they have a long tradition and history, but Ramírez probably influenced the history of guitar making like no one else. They have trained many Spanish luthiers and their guitars has been used as a model for many guitar builders all over the world.

This Jose Ramirez 1972 plays nice and is perfectly set up. The tone is thick yet clear, and has that essential warm, mysterious and moody quality that made Ramirez famous.

The builders Number is 18 – Manuel Alonso Gimenez

It is in a good condition – only some wear from play and use and a tiny repair on the back.

It has a cedar top and rosewood back and sides. The nut width is 54 mm and it has a 664 mm scale.

It comes with the original guitar case.
