A speciality among the Vintage Martins are the Koa models, which were mainly produced in the twenties. Most of them in the 0 size, a total of 3997 pieces, in style 28 only 641.
This is a drop dead gorgeous guitar, with its highly figured koa body and herringbone style 28 trim. If you want a vintage flat top that none of your friends have – this is the one to buy!
What to say about the tone of this one … Every now and then, you get to play a guitar which just blows you away. When you put this Martin 0-28K in your hands, we guarantee that’s exactly what will happen. This is true vintage: 98 years old, and still going strong. The tone is fabulously rich and energetic. This guitar has completely opened up, and plays extraordinarily easily; definitely a fingerstylist’s wet dream. The guitar’s got great projection too and trebles which sing. The sweet middle register complets the wonderful tone of this guitar.
The guitar is in wonderful condition and we could not spot any repair on it. The French polish finish has been expertly refreshed.
