Description

Introduced in 1932, the Gibson L-7 was Gibson’ most popular professional sized archop. The last noncutaway example rolled off the line in 1955. Identical in all but cosmetics to the costly L-5, the L-7 was highly prized by working players for it’s warmth, projection and playability.

Wartime instruments are Gibson’s rarest guitars, as the factory shifted to defense production, leaving just a small crew to finish up back ordered instruments.

This is a great sounding archtop with tons of vintage appeal and excellent playability. It delivers a warm sound with nicely defined lows, mids and highs. The action is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.

The guitar is in restored condition, with a repaired crack on the top and a plugged hole from some previously installed pickup. All repairs have been professionally done and the guitar is ready to go.

It comes with the original case.
