It has everything we love about vintage guitars: a beautifully aged spruce top with a warm honey patina, decades of music-making reflected in moderate playwear, and above all, that unbeatable vintage Martin sound.

Alongside the legendary D-28, the D-35 is one of the most iconic dreadnought guitars ever built. Played by legends such as Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan, the D-35 has made history as the quintessential 14-fret dreadnought and the design blueprint for countless models that followed.

This Martin D-35 1973 Acoustic Guitar is a perfect example from the golden era of Martin craftsmanship. It has been played and loved, and it shows in the sound: a huge, resonant bass, clear and singing trebles, and that warm, nuanced character that only matured tonewoods and decades of playing can create.
