Description

Emilio Fernandez 2019 Negra Flamenco Guitar – spectacular guitar – a masterpiece evoking Conde’s golden era

This Emilio Fernandez 2019 Negra Flamenco Guitar is one of the most stunning instruments we’ve encountered recently, reminiscent of the iconic guitars from Faustino Conde’s golden age.
Emilio Fernández is a highly distinguished luthier who began his career in 1970 in the workshop of Faustino Conde. Despite his youth, his talent was immediately apparent, and he quickly became a builder of master-grade guitars for Conde Hermanos. Emilio remained with the Conde family even after Faustino’s passing, serving as workshop manager for Faustino’s widow until 2013.
In 2013, Emilio opened his own workshop in Madrid, where he now crafts exclusive, entirely handmade guitars of the highest quality. His impeccable craftsmanship and dedication to selecting premium materials have made his instruments truly exceptional.

This particular Emilio Fernandez 2019 Negra Flamenco Guitar features a cedar top with a straight, fine, and even grain that enhances both its aesthetics and tonal qualities. The back and sides are constructed from exquisite walnut of the highest caliber. It boasts a 655 mm scale length and a 52 mm nut width, offering a perfect balance of tone and playability. The action is comfortably low at E 2.8 mm and e 2.1 mm at the 12th fret.

The sound of this Emilio Fernandez 2019 Negra Flamenco Guitar is remarkable: it possesses a commanding, authoritative voice with an exceptional balance between the resonant, singing highs and the deep, rich lows. Its dynamic range is immense, providing players with both power and subtlety for any musical expression. The tone is warm, full-bodied, and clear, with an inherent sense of mystery and moodiness that adds to its charm. Layers of balanced overtones enhance the crystal-clear fundamental notes, creating a sound that resonates with cathedral-like presence and depth. This gives it the projection and power needed to fill any concert hall effortlessly.

In terms of quality, this guitar rivals instruments priced at two to three times as much, making it an extraordinary value for a handmade masterpiece of this caliber.

This Emilio Fernandez 2019 Negra Flamenco Guitar is in excellent condition, with only minor signs of play and use. Importantly, it is free from any cracks or repairs, ensuring its structural and tonal integrity.

It comes with the original hard case, offering reliable protection for this exceptional instrument.

An Emilio Fernández guitar of this quality is not just an instrument but a testament to the legacy of Spanish guitar-making at its finest.
