Description

Miguel Rodriguez 1960’s Flamenco Guitar – An Exceptionally Rare and Special Instrument!

This remarkable Miguel Rodriguez 1960’s flamenco guitar was crafted in the workshop of the legendary luthier Miguel Rodríguez, located at 15 Alfaros Street in Córdoba. Known for their meticulous craftsmanship and distinctive character, Miguel Rodriguez’s guitars are highly sought after by collectors and performers worldwide.

Dedicated primarily to the creation of flamenco guitars, Miguel Rodriguez has produced instruments that have become staples in the collections of numerous renowned guitarists. This unique piece is constructed from exquisite materials, featuring a spruce top paired with cypress back and sides. With a scale length of 645 mm and a nut width of 51 mm, it exemplifies exceptional design.

As a 2a or “segunda” guitar, it adheres to the master’s construction specifications but was not built by Rodriguez himself. The sound produced by this guitar is both rich and expressive. The bass notes are powerful with remarkable depth, while the trebles are crystal-clear and bright, offering outstanding range and sustain with a perfect balance between the two.

Versatile in its tonal quality, the guitar produces a complex sound with an impressive array of beautiful timbres. It is well-balanced, boasting a robust and creamy tone, and features a quick, responsive action that enhances playability.

This Miguel Rodriguez 1960’s flamenco guitar is expertly adjusted, providing excellent comfort for both hands, and is in very good condition.
