Manuel Bellido is one of the most esteemed luthiers from Granada, renowned for crafting exceptional guitars with rich tonal character and exquisite craftsmanship. In the early 1960s, he learned the art of guitar making from Eduardo Ferrer alongside Antonio Marín Montero and his brother, José López Bellido. Establishing his own workshop shortly thereafter, Bellido has since gained worldwide recognition, with his instruments gracing concert stages in the hands of great classical and flamenco guitarists. Among the many virtuosos who have chosen his guitars are Juan Carmona and Tomatito. Deeply rooted in Spanish guitar-making traditions, his work is heavily inspired by the legendary Antonio de Torres.
