Together with his brother Eladio, who supplied him with the finest woods, he built guitars renowned worldwide. His instruments have been cherished by legendary artists such as Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Joaquín Amador, Raimundo Amador, and Paco Peña.
In 1988, Gerundino’s unmatched artistry was recognized when he won first prize and the award for Best Acoustic Guitar at the International UNESCO Competition of Guitar Builders in Paris.
