Juan López Aguilarte 2007 Flamenco Guitar – spectacular sounding flamenca blanca

This exquisite flamenco guitar was crafted in 2007 by the renowned luthier Juan López Aguilarte, a master craftsman with deep roots in the Spanish guitar-making tradition. Born in Seville in 1941, Aguilarte moved to Granada in his youth, where he developed his skills as a cabinetmaker before transitioning to the art of lutherie. He honed his craft working with esteemed makers such as Manuel Bellido, Eduardo Ferrer, and Antonio Durán, before establishing his own workshop on Placeta Aliatar 3 in 1979. Though now retired and residing in Armilla (Granada), his legacy lives on through his exceptional instruments.

This particular Juan López Aguilarte 2007 flamenco guitar reflects Aguilarte’s meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to quality. It was built with extraordinary care using premium materials. The top is crafted from select German spruce with a beautifully even and straight grain, ensuring remarkable tonal clarity and projection. The back and sides are made from stunningly figured cypress, adding not only visual elegance but also enhancing the guitar’s traditional flamenco sound.
